Entry level position. Must be willing to work OUTSIDE for extended periods of time and clear lines, maintain the truck, tools, stock and equipment. Prior survey experience and heavy construction is a strong plus.
Supports all survey field work. Operates and maintains state-of-the-art equipment. Must be willing to work OUTSIDE for extended periods of time and communicate well to all crew members. Will assist Crew Chief and learn descriptions, coding and techniques for data collection. TxDOT, water management and construction preferred.
This position supervises and directs the operations of the survey field crew in the execution of a wide range of surveying and mapping assignments. Strong organizational skills, ability to maintain clear and accurate field notes, strong technical understanding of survey field equipment and data collection processes is required.
This position assists the Senior Party Chief with his duties
Process field crew survey data, maintain project point database files, prepare base survey mapping and revise and/or modify drawings as necessary. Draft topographic mapping from points following standard protocols, prepare documents using Carlson Software to assist with various surveys; ALTA/NSPS, Boundary, Topographic, Tree, etc. Conform to appropriate CAD standards.
